Bottle Green Faille for Fall and Winter (sz. 12)

This accurate basic bodice is fully boned and has modified pagoda sleeves, which are trimmed with black braid and jet-type buttons. There are 10 small jet buttons at center front as well. Tiny piping is at the jewel neckline, shoulder seams, armholes and bodice bottom. The tasseled braid on the bodice is very typical of mid 19th century trim. The horizonal application serves to make the waist appear narrower.

The skirt has a slight curved hemline and is made up of 5 panels. The top of the skirt is directionally pleated all around. Ten lines of black braid trim the skirt and compliments the bodice trim. The skirt is 41 inches long.
