Linen Stripe
Green and White Woven Stripe (Size 12) The bodice has a center front opening with 8 shell buttons and hand-worked buttonholes. The jewel neckline has piping, as does the armholes and shoulder seams. While the muslin lining is fitted, the bodice is softly gathered and finely hand-stitched to the lining on either side of the front and at the center back.The lining has boning in the front darts and center back. The full Bishop sleeves are beautifully gathered at the shoulder and into the cuff. Cuffs have one button. The bodice bottom is piped and hand-attached to the self-fabric waistband. The skirt has a 166 inch circumference, is slightly elliptical and measures 42 inches at center front and 44 inches at center back. It has a 4 inch turned hem. The placket is on the left between the side seam and center front, and is directionally pleated across the front and hand guaged across the back.
